Kaplan is the largest and fastest-growing subsidiary of The Washington Post Company. Kaplan Language Centre (formerly Hong Kong Putonghua Vocational School) focuses on Putonghua training and is one of the largest language training centres in HK. It is comprised of 3 learning centres, located in Admiralty, Wanchai and Mongkok. Over the past 37 years, Kaplan Language Training has successfully trained tens of thousands of students including individuals, enterprises, school students and teachers.
Our Teachers
Putonghua is the language spoken by the official class and was based on the Beijing dialect, therefore, there isn't anyone more suitable to teach the language besides the native-tongue.
Most of our teachers have graduated from well-known universities or institutions in northern China and are native Putonghua speakers. Their excellent result in Putonghua Proficiency Test (PSC Test) has proven their qualifications in teaching its language. They possess extensive experience in bilingual language teaching in Hong Kong and understand the difficulties faced by Hong Kong students in learning Putonghua. Kaplan Language Training also provides extra on-job training to its teachers to continuously upgrade their knowledge, skills and teaching standards. |
